• “Beechwood Primary School is Always Doing Something Good”

Day 4 – 12 June 2015

Our final day started at the hypermarket for those last minute pressies!

We then visited Nausicaa Aquarium which according to the children was ‘awesome!’

We then had lunch and free time at the beach in the sun before making our return to Beechwood.

We have a bus full of very happy but extremely tired children – they will sleep well for you tonight!

See you all soon. 😀

Day 3 – 11 June 2015

An absolute scorcher today – 29 degrees Celsius.

We started the day at Le Touquet Market followed by lunch and free time on the beach. The children were challenged to create a sand sculpture and I think you will agree they were very creative!

Then we visited Etapes War Cemetery- the children were impeccably behaved and were a credit to Beechwood as they walked around. We returned to the chateau for tea and finally the highlight of the week – the disco!

We can’t believe that this is our last night. It has been a privilege to take our year six children away. What a superb trip.

Mrs Timms: I agree – we are all having such a lovely time and the children are being amazing. What a privilege to spend the week with them creating some fantastic memories – even the snail eating was an experience not to be forgotten!  😀

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow! 😀

Day 2 – 10 June 2015

We have had another fantastic day.

First we visited Montreuil-sur-mer where we walked around the town and had our French lesson.

We ate our lunch in the square before visiting the Boulangerie to learn how to make French bread and make croissants and pain au chocolat.

We then visited the beach for some free time before ending the day at the sweet factory.

After dinner the children made and ate crepes. Nobody is going hungry here!

The weather has been brilliant.

More tomorrow. 😀
