Beechwood Primary School

Day 3 – 11 June 2015

An absolute scorcher today – 29 degrees Celsius.

We started the day at Le Touquet Market followed by lunch and free time on the beach. The children were challenged to create a sand sculpture and I think you will agree they were very creative!

Then we visited Etapes War Cemetery- the children were impeccably behaved and were a credit to Beechwood as they walked around. We returned to the chateau for tea and finally the highlight of the week – the disco!

We can’t believe that this is our last night. It has been a privilege to take our year six children away. What a superb trip.

Mrs Timms: I agree – we are all having such a lovely time and the children are being amazing. What a privilege to spend the week with them creating some fantastic memories – even the snail eating was an experience not to be forgotten!  😀

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow! 😀
