Covid-19 Guidance
Dear Parents and Guardians,
A reminder that if anyone in your household displays any Covid-19 symptoms that a full PCR test should be arranged.
Full information can be found by clicking on the link below:
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
Please be aware that Lateral Flow Tests can be used to regularly test and check yourself and your family whilst you are NOT displaying any COVID symptoms. If you or anyone in your family is displaying any symptoms, a full PCR test should be carried out at a test centre.
If anyone tests positive on a Lateral Flow Test or gets coronavirus symptoms, they should tell the school, self-isolate immediately, get a PCR test to confirm the result and follow the stay at home guidance for households with possible coronavirus infection.

Confirmed case of COVID-19 (2 December 2020)
Please see the attached letter, we have been advised today of a positive Covid-19 case in our Year 6.
As the Year 6 children have been self isolating since the 23rd November no action is required apart from with the family concerned. All the other Year 6 children and staff due to return tomorrow can do so as planned. As far as we are aware this case is not related to the original positive case in Year 6.

Google Classroom Guide
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Beechwood Primary School have now set up Google Classroom, an online interface where work can be posted, submitted and assessed. We are hoping to start sending out homework on the platform before half term with the aim that we are completely digital by half term. This might not happen straight away, but we will work to get it sorted as soon as possible.
All of the children will be sent home with their individual login and class code and will be able to access it straight away. This does not mean there will be work on there instantly as this is the first step towards using the system.
Attached is a word document and a link to guide you through logging in for the first time.
