How do we teach maths?
At Beechwood Primary School our maths curriculum is based on White Rose which ensure the children build on their prior knowledge. We use the Concrete, Pictorial and Abstract approach to support our children in achieving their full potential. We make teaching purposeful and relevant to daily life, and link it to the real-life contexts as often as possible. Resources are used to support children’s progress and working walls are proved to help children to work independently.
