Reading for Pleasure
Over the next couple of weeks, we are not going to be setting comprehension activities for reading as we want you to have some time to read for pleasure. On the website there is a ‘100 books to read before you leave year 6’ but these are just suggestions so feel free to choose any book that you are interested. May be try a new author, or a non-fiction, a different genre or a book recommended by a friend. You could even start a family book club and all read the book together and discuss what’s going on!
If you choose a book and realise that book isn’t for you then swap it. Maybe send us an email with a book review.
Enjoy your reading
Mrs Reece
