'I am absolutely delighted to have begun my role as Headteacher at Beechwood this week, welcoming the opportunity to lead the school on its journey of continued improvement. This comes at a hugely exciting time when Beechwood has also formally become part of Frays Multi Academy Trust. I am looking forward to working in partnership with Frays to ensure we provide all the children at Beechwood with the very best learning and school experience, and start to their journey in education.'

Miss S E Hunter - Headteacher, Beechwood Primary School

'I am very pleased to be able to say that Beechwood is now a Frays school.  Having finally joined Frays Multi Academy Trust we can all now look forward positively to building on the improvements already made.

I am equally pleased that the members of the IEB and Shadow Governing Body have agreed to continue in their roles but as 'Local Governors' at Beechwood which will provide continuity so that we can continue with our contribution to the improvement journey at Beechwood.

Governors are really looking forward to working closely with Miss Hunter and Frays.'

Lester Dennis - Chair of Local Governing Body

‘We are delighted that Beechwood is now formally part of Frays. Becoming part of Frays means that the school will be able to access the full range of resources and support. As you will already know, we have been working in partnership with Beechwood for 18 months and we really look forward to working with the school to ensure that children who attend Beechwood Primary receive the very best provision.’
